Erin grew up in Waterloo, Ontario as an only child enrolled in enough extra curriculars for three children. After trying every sport in the book and realising an athletic scholarship wasn’t in the cards, she moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia. She attended the University of King’s College, the least athletic university she could find. Four years later she had successfully increased her tolerance for cheap beer and had gotten a journalism degree to boot.
Her time in girl guides, at summer camp, and at King’s had taught her something. Smaller organizations are the environments she feels most empowered and at home in. Thus began her journey to create and surround herself in community. She took that mission to Windsor, Ontario, where she lives with her shaggy dog and their boyfriend.
